Sandeep Reddy Vanga Goes All Out as Producer, Developing Three Small Films Featuring Newcomers (EXCLUSIVE)
Sandeep Reddy Vanga is currently busy shooting his ambitious film, "Spirit," featuring Prabhas and Tripti Dimri. The film has already completed three small schedules in Hyderabad. But that hasn’t stopped the "Animal" and "Arjun Reddy" director from planning multiple projects simultaneously.
Known for his intense storytelling, Vanga is now focusing on backing fresh talent alongside his big-ticket films. Variety India has exclusively learnt that Vanga has greenlit three low-budget films under his banner Bhadrakali Pictures. Out of these, two films will feature newcomers in lead roles and are expected to be intense, content-driven crime dramas.
The third project is reportedly a village-based romantic drama, with young Telugu actor Sumanth Prabhas playing the lead. Interestingly, this film is being directed by one of Vanga’s assistants, Venu, and shooting has already kicked off in a small village in Telangana. The film is titled "Romanchikam," and the makers plan to release it in the first half of 2027.

The aforementioned films are designed to give platform to emerging actors and filmmakers who have yet to receive mainstream opportunities. Reports also suggest that several young technicians and short film creators are being considered to work on these projects. Vanga has actively identified fresh voices and offered them opportunities through his production house.
All three films are expected to release in 2027, indicating a structured and long-term plan. While these small-budget ventures showcase his support for new talent, Vanga’s primary focus remains on large-scale cinema. A source close to the team revealed, "These concepts come from new-age makers who have crazy stories to narrate. That is the main reason Sandeep is going all out to make these films."
On the other hand, Sandeep has already lined up major projects with Allu Arjun and Mahesh Babu, making it clear that he is balancing both experimental and commercial cinema effectively. More details about his upcoming films will be out soon.
