Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss 20’ Schedule Revealed (EXCLUSIVE)
Salman Khan’s "Bigg Boss 20" remains one of the most eagerly anticipated reality shows. The superstar returns as host of the long-running reality show that continues to command a massive following across television and streaming platforms. Variety India has learned that Khan is set to begin filming the new season on September 21.
Before that, he is expected to complete a substantial portion of his upcoming action thriller with director Vamsi Paidipally, which also stars Nayanthara. Sources indicate that Khan’s team is currently coordinating his schedule to accommodate the reality show, one of his biggest annual commitments.

Shortlisting and auditions for “Bigg Boss 20” are expected to begin shortly. Sources indicate that the makers have already approached several prominent television personalities, with initial discussions currently underway. Contestants from popular reality shows are also being considered, given the significant role younger OTT audiences play in the show's popularity and engagement. A few former contestants could also return to the franchise. The makers are expected to unveil more details about the show's format and contestant lineup in the coming weeks.
"Bigg Boss 19" proved to be a strong performer, delivering consistent ratings throughout its run. Contestants, including Gaurav Khanna, Farrhana Bhatt, Amaal Mallik, Tanya Mittal and Baseer Ali, added a lot of drama to the proceedings.
Salman Khan is also awaiting the release of "Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace," directed by Apoorva Lakhia and co-starring Chitrangda Singh. In the film, he portrays Colonel Bikkumalla Santosh Babu. The movie's release date is not finalized yet.
