Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss 20’ Premiere Episode Clocks 6.4 Million Views, ‘India’s Got Latent’ Season Retains Its Top Spot

Before "Bigg Boss 20" went on air there was a lot of conversation about the line-up of contestants for this season. However, audiences tuned in large numbers to watch the reality series on JioHotstar. Salman Khan's show clocked in 6.4 million views. This year, the makers have roped in Kanika Mann, Mahhi Vij, Mary Kom, Kushal Tanwar aka Gullu, Isha Rikhi, Love Gill, Qazi Touqeer Khan, Yung DSA (real name: Harsh Machare), Rohed Khan and others for the show. However, it was on the second place in the Ormax StreamView charts. 

The first spot was taken by Samay Raina's "India's Got Talent" Season Two that got 7.8 million views. It airs on Netflix and YouTube. The stand-up comedy show has become one of the most successful OTT properties. 

Rohit Shetty's "Khatron Ke Khiladi 15" takes the third position with 5.5 million views. The reality TV series filmed in Cape Town, South Africa has hooked audiences with some daredevil stunts involving animals, heights, water and other elements. Strong performances from the likes of Farrhana Bhatt, Avinash Mishra, Orry, Rithvik Dhanjani and Karan Wahi has added to the show. 

It is followed by another reality TV show, the iconic "Kaun Banega Crorepati" Season 18 hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. It streams on Sony TV and SonyLIV. It got 5.1 million views. "The Traitors" Season Two finale got a viewership of 4.5 million on Amazon Prime Video. It was won by Krystle D'Souza and Rida Tharana. 

The long-running sitcom "Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah" got 4.2 million views on YouTube and the streaming platform. It is followed by the second season of the intense romantic drama, "Thukra Ke Mera Pyaar," that got a viewership of 3.5 million on JioHotstar. 

The two films, "Dhamaal" and "Alpha" took up the eighth and ninth place on the chart. The tenth place was taken up by "I, Nobody" that had a viewership of 2.8 million. 

The Top 10 OTT properties on the charts are listed from Aug 31 to Sep 6, 2026. It is estimated by the number of Indian audience (in millions), who watched a property for at least 30 mins in the week of tracking.
