Raghav Juyal Begins Shooting For ‘Bhai Tera Star Hai’ – His First Film In Lead Role (EXCLUSIVE)

Choreographer-turned-actor Raghav Juyal enjoys a great fanbase, especially in tier-2 and tier-3 markets. While the performer earned much praise for his act in “Kill” and “The Ba***ds of Bollywood,” Juyal has now begun the shooting of a new project, where he is playing the lead role, unlike his previous two projects.

Variety India has exclusively learned that Raghav Juyal has kick-started the shooting of a film titled “Bhai Tera Star Hai” this week, which is produced and directed by Vivek Agrawal, who previously helmed “I See You,” featuring Arjun Rampal.

The earlier schedule of the movie got cancelled due to Raghav’s injury, as the actor broke his leg, which required the crew to return from London.

Meanwhile, the actor has two other biggies, “Ramayana” and “The Paradise,” in the offing, where he will play key roles.

The actor will portray the role of Meghanad (also referred to as Indrajit), the eldest son of Ravana and the crown prince of Lanka. His character will feature in "Ramayana Part 2," which is currently scheduled for a Diwali 2027 release. The role was initially supposed to be played by Vikrant Massey, but things apparently didn't work out. Raghav was subsequently approached, and he immediately came on board.

The epic movie features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita, ‘Toxic’ star Yash as Ravana, Ravie Dubey as Lakshman and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman with Lara Dutta (as Kaikeyi), Rakul Preet Singh (as Surpanakha), Arun Govil (as King Dashrath), Indira Krishnan (as Queen Kaushalya), Sheeba Chaddha (as Manthara), Adinath Kothare (as Bharat) and Kunal Kapoor (as Lord Indra).

On the other hand, “The Paradise” features Nani, Kayadu Lohar, Mohan Babu and Sonali Kulkarni, among others. It is set to release on August 21 this year in eight languages — Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, English, Spanish, Bengali, Kannada and Malayalam.
