Post ‘Ramayana,’ Chetan Hansraj Gears Up For A Medical Web Series (Exclusive)
Chetan Hansraj has started shooting for a new medical thriller in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The web series, produced by Balaji Telefilms, is titled “OT No.8.” The actor plays a doctor with grey shades and is the main protagonist of the series. Recently, the actor has been working in microdramas and running his AI studio, which does VFX for serials like “Naagin 7.”
Punarvasu Naik, who directs “OT No.8,” was the executive producer of “Waiting Hai,” starring Divyenndu, Bhuvan Arora and Kumud Mishra. Hansraj has been in many TV shows, but this will be his first time portraying a doctor.

“OT No.8” will be streamed on Amazon MX. The cast also includes Akshay Anand, Dhaval Thakur (known for “Thukra Ke Mera Pyaar”), Kanika Maheshwari, Khushi Mishra and Twinkle Arora.
In “Ramayana,” which features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama and Sai Pallavi as Sita, Hansraj plays Mali, Raavana's (Yash) maternal grandfather. Slated for a Diwali 2026 release, the movie is among the most expensive films in Indian cinema. In a previous interview, Hansraj told Variety India, “I have done many shows that revolve around these epics before this, which helped me gather knowledge about this. I brought all my experience into it. Every time I was giving a shot, my thought was that it has to be perfect.”

He also said, “For me, it was fabulous because I work on Unreal Engine (3D Creation Tool) as well. The entire preview of the movie was done in Unreal Engine. The technicians I interacted with were top-of-the-line from a VFX point of view.”
