‘Perfect Crown’ Teaser: Byeon Woo-seok and IU’s Chemistry Makes The Wait For April 10 Tougher
One of the most-anticipated shows of 2026 from the world of Korean dramas is "Perfect Crown." It stars "Lovely Runner" heartthrob Byeon Woo-seok with IU (real name: Lee Ji-eun) who had a very successful 2025 with the blockbuster, "When Life Gives You Tangerines." The casting got all K-dramas fans excited. In "Perfect Crown," IU plays the role of a wealthy woman who does not have much social status. On the other hand, Byeon Woo-seok is the sidelined prince of South Korea. It has a fantasy element where the nation is imagined under a modern monarchy. Woo-seok plays the role of Prince Yi. "Perfect Crown," will air on MBC and Disney+ from April 10. In the latest teaser, we can see how the Hee-joo and Prince Yi enter into a relationship that is mutually beneficial to them. The onscreen couple also share a kiss in front of the media. Fans are loving this new teaser released by the channel. IU is known for her work in fantasy Korean dramas while Woo-seok was the breakout star of 2025.

Byeon Woo-seok and IU seem to have got the dreamy chemistry right in this new teaser. The production values of the show also look rich with excellent styling and art decoration. Disney+ has an excellent slate of Korean dramas in the next few months with dramas like "Climax," "The Remarried Empress," "Portraits of Delusion," to name a few. When the cast was announced, everyone felt that Woo-seok was perfect as the prince with his drop-dead gorgeous visuals. The series will be directed by Park Joon-hwa.
