Paras Kalnawat Of ‘Anupamaa’, ‘Kundali Bhagya’ Fame On His Return To OTT With ‘Campus Beats’ Season 6: ‘There Is This Barrier For TV Stars’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Actor Paras Kalnawat who has done a number of TV shows like "Anupamaa," "Parineetii," "Meri Durga," "Kundali Bhagya" has made his comeback in the OTT space. He has joined the cast of "Campus Beats" 6 with Shantanu Maheshwari. They have finished shooting for a month. He told Variety India, "This is my first OTT show after "Ishq Aaj Kal," which was in 2019. As an actor, I look forward to working in every medium." 

"Gangubai Kathiawadi" actor Shantanu Maheshwari is also a part of the series. They have already filmed together. "It is great to work with him. Shantanu is just too good as an actor," he says. Paras also says that he is open to doing a TV show as he films for "Campus Beats" Season 6.  
 

He says he is glad to be on "Campus Beats" one of the most successful series on Indian OTT. Paras said he is glad to see more and more Indian TV stars in the OTT space. "There are so many film stars in Hollywood who work in TV series. No one looks down on them. They are treated with as much respect. Acting is acting at the end of it. In India, there is a certain barrier against TV actors. It is good to see them get work on OTT projects and same kind of respect," he adds. 

He said it was a good time for actors to mix up their projects across mediums. Paras Kalnawat was much loved as Samar in "Anupamaa."
