‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’ Teaser: Diljit Dosanjh, Vedang Raina Celebrate Love, Yearning and Separation In The Most Poetic Manner
When it comes to love stories that pack in emotions, old-world charm and timeless music, very few do it like Imtiaz Ali in Bollywood. Today, the teaser of “Main Vaapas Aaunga” was released. It stars Diljit Dosanjh, Sharvari and Vedang Raina in lead roles. From the teaser, it seems like Diljit Dosanjh wants to take his grandfather to his younger days when he loved someone deeply. There is also a commentary on the Partition that ended many ties, some in tragic circumstances. Diljit Dosanjh is effortless as ever. However, the surprise element is Vedang Raina who shines as a young lover.

Imtiaz is back as a director after “Amar Singh Chamkila” and “My Melbourne”, an anthology movie. Diljit Dosanjh was in fine form in the biopic on the life of the assassinated Punjabi singer. It is one of his best works so far. Sharvari who is doing her first movie with the director is the picture of innocence and elegance. We see her as a Punjabi school-girl and the makers have got her look right. Besides Vedang Raina, Bollywood fans are also amazed by AR Rahman’s music. Irshad Kamil is the lyricist and he is known for his poetry.
The movie is produced by Applause Entertainment and Window Seat Films. In looks like June 2026 is the month of romance in Bollywood.
