‘Lock Upp’ Season 2: Shivangi Joshi Signs Up For Farah Khan-Riteish Deshmukh-Hosted Series (EXCLUSIVE)
Shivangi Joshi, best known as Naira from "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" is the latest contestant to join “Lock Upp” Season 2, Variety India has learnt. The new season moves to a new home, from MX Player to Netflix and begins streaming June 27 onwards. The shoot of “Lock Upp” Season 2 will start soon with Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan serving as the 'jailers.'
The streaming platform recently shared the reality show's first promo, but it did not reveal the contestant names. Incidentally, this is Joshi's second reality show. She was last seen in “Khatron Ke Khiladi” Season 12, hosted by Rohit Shetty in 2022. The actress just completed shooting a schedule for “Heartbeats” Season 2 in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, where she plays a medical intern.

The first season of “Lock Upp” streamed in February 2022, with Kangana Ranaut as the host. Munawar Faruqui was the winner. The second season will have 14 contestants. The contestants for “Lock Upp” Season 2 are still being finalized.
Shivangi Joshi is one of the TV actresses who enjoy immense popularity on social media. With an established fan base, she could emerge as one of the strongest contenders for the winner’s title.
