Jigyasa Singh And Sudesh Berry Join Sai Ketan Rao in the Modern Adaptation of the Detective Show ‘Suraag – The Clue’
Actor Jigyasa Singh ("Thapki Pyaar Ki") is all set to play a detective in her new project. Variety India has learned that the actor is shooting for a modern adaptation of Doordarshan’s TV show, “Suraag - The Clue.” She has been paired with Sai Ketan Rao, who plays the main male lead. The two actors will play investigators in this new version of the show, which will be a lot darker and grittier than the original.

The show will air on OTT Waves, the multi-lingual streaming platform of Prasar Bharti, India's public broadcaster. Adhikari Brothers, who produced the original show, will be backing this project. Ravi Adhikari, son of the late Gautam Adhikari, is involved in its writing and direction.
The web series will have 52 episodes. Sudesh Berry, who essayed Inspector Bharat Chattopadhyay in the original “Suraag - The Clue,” is also joining the team. The actor, who will reprise his role, has started shooting for the series with Sai and Jigyasa. His return sparks a hint of nostalgia. His catchphrase, “You Are Under Arrest,” was a fan favorite when the show aired between 1999 to 2002.
