“I’ve been a massive fan of Zack Snyder since ‘300.’ When I was in LA, I got a chance to read for him. I didn't know I was going to land the part. So, I came back to India, and the next Monday or Tuesday, I received the call saying, 'Okay, here's your contract.' And I was really like, "I'm going to be working with Zack Snyder,"' shares Huma.

“I wanted to know how these people work, what the methodology is, how they plan, how they prep, how they conceive a scene, how they look at it. I had a lot of fun working on that film with Zack. And I remember the first time I met him, he was also shooting the film. He was the DP (Director of Photography) on it and it was just freaking fantastic. And just to have that kind of ensemble from like all over the world, practically coming together and working on a story to engage people,” adds the actress.

Qureshi recollects how the film got impacted by COVID and says, “The only regret is that the film had to release during COVID. So, all our plans for all these global premieres and all of that went down the drain. But I hope to get to work with Zack once again.”

Also starring Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Omari Hardwick, Ana de la Reguera, Theo Rossi, Matthias Schweighöfer, Nora Arnezeder, Hiroyuki Sanada, Tig Notaro, Raúl Castillo and Garret Dillahunt, the film's screenplay was written by Zack Snyder, Shay Hatten and Joby Harold.
