From ‘One Battle After Another’ Winning Big To ‘Adolescence’ Bags Best Drama Series: Complete List Of AACTA 2026 Winners

The season of awards is here and so is the excitement that comes with it. Fresh out of the Grammy Awards, the audience is still celebrating the winners. Turns out we have another reason to celebrate as winners for the AACTA 2026 have been announced, and the long list of winners celebrates films, artists and all things cinema from various parts of the world. While the international titles won big at the AACTA International Awards night, the spotlight shone on Australian titles.

Presented by the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts, the ceremony took place on Friday at the Home of the Arts on the Gold Coast. The awards were presented across film categories and television titles.

The international awards section was ruled by “One Battle After Another” starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Teyana Taylor in the lead, as it managed to bag the top honours including Best Film and Best Director for Paul Thomas Anderson. While Rose Byrne continued her winning streak for “If I Had Legs I’d Kick You”, so did Timothée Chalamet for “Marty Supreme”. Other winners also include Jacob Elordi, Sally Hawkins, and “The Narrow Road to the Deep North”. For television, Netflix’s “Adolescence” and HBO Max’s “The Studio” won big.
