‘Dhurandhar 2’ Unveils First Track ‘Aari Aari,’ Reviving the Bombay Rockers Classic Ahead of Release

As the buzz around the Aditya Dhar–Ranveer Singh film “Dhurandhar: The Revenge,” also known as “Dhurandhar 2,” continues to intensify, the makers have released the first song from the album, “Aari Aari.” The track, which was briefly teased in the trailer, had already caught the audience’s attention, and the full version is now out for fans to hear.

The song is a rendition of the popular early 2000s track composed and performed by the Bombay Rockers duo Navtej Singh Rehal and Thomas Sardorf. Originally released in the 2000s, the song was a chart topper at the time, and with its return to the mainstream through “Dhurandhar: The Revenge,” it appears set to find a new generation of listeners.

The version featured in the Singh starrer is composed by Shashwat Sachdev and crooned by Navtej Singh Rehal (Bombay Rockers), Shashwat Sachdev, Khan Saab, Jasmine Sandlas and Sudhir Yaduvanshi, with rap performed and written by Rebel and Token. The lyrics are by Irshad Kamil and Bombay Rockers. The video captures the raw rage of Hamza as he continues his takeover, this time seated on the throne, hinting at the scale and intensity of the sequel.

Meanwhile, with “Dhurandhar: The Revenge” just a week away from its theatrical debut, the makers have also announced that the first instalment, originally released in December 2025, will return to the big screen beginning today. The film is being re-released across approximately 500 screens worldwide, including 250 screens across India starting March 12 and another 250 overseas beginning March 13.

Presented by Jio Studios and produced by B62 Studios, “Dhurandhar: The Revenge” will release in five languages — Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. The spy action spectacle is written, directed and produced by Aditya Dhar, with Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar serving as producers. The film is set to release worldwide on March 19, 2026.
