‘Dhurandhar 2’: Is The Runtime of Ranveer Singh’s spy-actioner 3 hours 55 minutes? Here’s What We Know
Ranveer Singh starrer “Dhurandhar 2,” aka “Dhurandhar: The Revenge” is arriving this Eid at the box-office with an unprecedented buzz. While the trailer of this spy-actioner is releasing tomorrow on the festive day of Holi, there’s a chatter on social media that the duration of the film will be 3 hours and 55 minutes, making it one of the longest-running movies.
However, when Variety India got in touch with the exhibitor and director of Aashirwad Theatres Pvt Ltd, Akkshay Rathie, he says that the runtime is yet to be shared officially by the studio. However, Rathie emphasizes that what he knows, the runtime of “Dhurandhar 2” is definitely over 3 hours and 30 minutes.

For the unversed, the duration of "Dhurandhar," which released in December last year, was 3 hours and 34 minutes.
Interestingly, Yash starrer “Toxic,” which is locking horns with “Dhurandhar 2,” also has a reportedly runtime of over 3 hours. With such long runtimes, both films have fewer showings unless and until, theaters decide to add midnight and early morning shows, depending on the demand from the audience.
Coming back to “Dhurandhar 2”, the expectations from the film are sky-high as it has the potential to become the first Hindi film to enter the ₹1000-crore club in the domestic market.
Apart from Ranveer, the movie will also see Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Danish Pandor, Gaurav Gera and Manav Gohil reprising their characters from the first part.
Unlike the first part, “Dhurandhar 2” will also be released in dubbed versions of Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, who also helmed the first part, “Dhurandhar 2” is bankrolled by Aditya Dhar, Lokesh Dhar and Jyoti Deshpande under the banners of Jio Studios and B62 Studios.
