‘Dhurandhar 2’ Box Office: Ranveer Singh-starrer Set To Beat Pawan Kalyan’s ‘They Call Him OG’ To Become The Highest Indian Grosser in Paid Preview Shows
Ranveer Singh’s “Dhurandhar 2” has not only created unprecedented buzz among the cinegoers but is also shattering records before its grand arrival at the ticket windows.
While the film has already become the highest Bollywood grosser in the North American market in the paid previews, surpassing Animal, “Dhurandhar 2,” which currently stands at the pre-screening collection of 19.35 crore, is set to beat Pawan Kalyan-starrer “They Call Him OG” (21 crore) to become the highest Indian premiere grosser in the domestic market.
Talking about the phenomenal performance of “Dhurandhar 2” at the box office, Gautam Dutta, CEO – Growth and Revenue of PVR INOX told Variety India, “Films like ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ are made for the scale, sound and emotion that only cinemas can deliver, and we look forward to welcoming audiences for what promises to be a spectacular cinematic celebration. The response so far has been phenomenal, with bookings already crossing 150,000 tickets and preview shows expected to run at full capacity. Given the strong demand, we are bringing the film to a wider network of our cinemas so that audiences across the country can experience it together on the big screen. If the current momentum continues, we believe ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ has the potential to surpass the success of the first film and set new benchmarks for Bollywood.”
