BTS Officially Reveals ‘ARIRANG’ Tracklist 17 Days Before Album Release

BTS has given a big surprise to all ARMYs. The tracklist of "ARIRANG" has been dropped 17 days before its release. The official handle of Big Hit Music shared the same and people cannot keep calm. BTS's fifth studio album has a total of 14 songs. Fans were overjoyed seeing this surprise drop. The names of the tracks are "Body to Body," "Hooligan," "Aliens," "FYA," "2.0," "No.29," "SWIM," "Merry Go Round," "NORMAL," "Like Animals," "they don't know 'bout us," "One More Night," "Please," and "Into the Sun." J-Hope had teased fans about "Body to Body," saying that the song made his heart shake. Every BTS studio album has had more than 10 songs and "ARIRANG" is no different. The longest song in "ARIRANG" is "Into the Sun."

Let us take a look at the writing credits of "ARIRANG." Leader RM aka Kim Namjoon is credited as a songwriter for every track of the comeback album. SUGA (real name: Min Yoongi) and J-Hope (real name: Jung Hoseok) have also co-written more than 10 songs each. The name of Jungkook as a lyric writer is there for four songs. The biggest mystery is around "No. 29," which fans believe might be a surprise. The whole album is close to 42 minutes. RM (real name: Kim Namjoon) had played "Merry Go Round" some days back on piano. The band also released a message on Apple Music titled ARMYRANG. Music producers who have worked with Bad Bunny and Rosalia are also a part of "ARIRANG." 

Kim Taehyung is also a producer for "ARIRANG". Fans are guessing that "SWIM" could be the lead track as Tyler Spry who has worked on "DtMF" by Bad Bunny is also a producer on the same. One Republic's Ryan Tedder is one of the producers for "Body to Body", a track ARMY is most excited for. BTS spent close to two months in Los Angeles recording the album. They lived in what the members described as a music camp. Diplo is a producer for almost every track and Tame Impala is also a part of "ARIRANG". The members will hold a live concert from Gwanghwamun on March 21.
