HYBE has confirmed the first-ever Weverse Con Festival India. In an announcement on October 7, HYBE India shared plans for its debut edition to be held in New Delhi on March 27 and 28. After years of being held in South Korea, this will be the first time the music festival will be held in a different country. The live music experience is expected to bring K-Pop acts as well as Indian singers together for a one-of-a-kind music festival in the capital city, “alongside special collaboration stages that bring artists and cultures together.”

The music festival, which has become a constant in its founding country for the past five years, marks its first-ever overseas edition with this. While the label previously held a year-end livestream for fans, it was for the December 2021 edition that the name “Weverse Con” was adopted. In the past, in-house HYBE artists as well as singers from other companies have helmed the music festival, with the same being expected for the Indian edition.
“By bringing HYBE’s global capabilities together with India’s creativity, we aim to create a festival that expands our ecosystem through experiences that resonate with local audiences. We look forward to bringing fans together to discover a new universe of music and unlock an immersive journey where they can connect, celebrate, and explore new possibilities alongside the artists they love,” says Jason Jaesang Lee, CEO of HYBE, about the event.
