Box Office Prediction: Ajay Devgn’s ‘Dhamaal 4’ To Keep Comedy Momentum Going After ‘Bhooth Bangla’ and ‘Welcome To The Jungle’
Two weeks after “Welcome To The Jungle,” “Dhamaal 4,” the fourth installment of the popular franchise, is arriving at the box office. The Ajay Devgn-starrer has gained momentum in pre-advance sales and is expected to deliver a solid opening at the box office.
According to the movie analytics platform RecoBee, the film is expected to open with ₹13 crore plus in the domestic market. With the projected figures, “Dhamaal 4” is expected to rank among Ajay Devgn’s top 10 openers of all time. However, it will end up earning more on the first day, as on-the-spot bookings, especially in the single screens in Tier 2 and Tier 3 territories, will play a critical role.

“Dhamaal 4” also has the advantage of being the solo Hindi release with no holdover competition, as last week’s “Alpha” has slowed down at the box office. The comedy genre has turned out to be a money-spinner in 2026 with “Bhooth Bangla” and “Welcome To The Jungle” emerging as hits, and the fourth part of the “Dhamaal” franchise has the potential to extend this success.
Having said that, the film has only one week to perform, since Christopher Nolan’s highly-anticipated biggie, “The Odyssey,” is arriving next Friday and will take maximum screens across the country, primarily targeting multiplexes in the metros.
Apart from Ajay Devgn, the film also features Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Jaaved Jaaferi, Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Upendra Limaye, Anjali Anand, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Esha Gupta and Vijay Patkar in pivotal roles. The film, set to hit the screens tomorrow, is directed by Indra Kumar, who also helmed the previous three parts of the franchise.
