Baywatch’ Reboot Cast Revealed: Stephen Amell, Shay Mitchell, Noah Beck Join New Lifeguard Drama
The popular series “Baywatch” is officially set for yet another reboot. The long-running lifeguard drama, which first premiered in 1989 and ran for 11 seasons, is being revived as a 12-episode streaming series slated to premiere in 2026 or 2027. Production is already underway at Fox Studios in Century City and on location in Venice Beach, and the cast lineup has now been revealed.
“Baywatch” famously turned stars such as David Hasselhoff, Pamela Anderson, Carmen Electra and Jason Momoa into household names, helping define pop culture television in its era. This new reboot, expected to arrive either this year or next, is being developed by Matt Nix, who serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside McG, Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, Doug Schwartz, Dante Di Loreto and Mike Horowitz. The pilot episode will be directed by McG.
What is drawing particular attention, however, is the cast assembled for the new series. Here is the full list of actors set to bring back the beaches, rescues and red swimsuits.
Stephen Amell
The first actor to join the “Baywatch” reboot was Stephen Amell, best known for his work in “Suits LA,” “Arrow,” “The Flash” and “The Borderline.” Amell will lead the series as Hobie Buchannon, the son of Mitch Buchannon.
Shay Mitchell
“Pretty Little Liars” star Shay Mitchell is also on board to play Trina, a former lawyer who leaves behind a high-paying career to become a lifeguard. Mitchell’s credits also include “You,” “Dollface,” “Something From Tiffany’s,” “Dreamland” and “Mother’s Day.”

Jessica Belkin
Jessica Belkin, known for “Last Straw,” “The Hunting Wives” and “Bad Day,” will portray Charlie Vale, Hobie Buchannon’s biological daughter. Charlie unexpectedly arrives at her father’s doorstep and aspires to become a Baywatch lifeguard herself.
Hassie Harrison
Hassie Harrison plays Nat, a series regular and former foster child turned Olympic athlete who brings discipline, high standards and fierce loyalty to the lifeguard team. As Hobie’s closest friend and trusted right hand, she plays a key role in the group. Harrison is known for “Yellowstone,” “Tacoma FD” and “Hart of Dixie.”
Livvy Dunne
Livvy Dunne is making her professional acting debut with the “Baywatch” reboot. She is set to play Grace, a recurring character who is part of the Junior Lifeguard program. Dunne is best known as a former LSU gymnast and for documenting her life in sports and beyond.
Nadia Gray
Nadia Gray appears in a recurring guest role as Lisa, an EMT who works closely alongside the Venice Beach lifeguard team. Bringing a grounded presence to the ensemble, Lisa serves as an important partner in the field. Gray’s previous screen credits include “Bright,” “All Rise,” “Sandy Wexler” and “Days of Our Lives.”
Noah Beck
Noah Beck plays Luke, a rookie lifeguard and the youngest member of a firefighter family who chooses the beach over the firehouse. Marking another step in his transition from content creation to acting, Beck takes on the role after previously appearing in “Sidelined.”
David Chokachi
David Chokachi reprises his role as Cody Madison, a familiar face from the original series who appeared across seasons six through nine. Cody is a veteran lifeguard who also runs The Shoreline, the unofficially official “Baywatch” bar-and-grill. Chokachi was the second original cast member confirmed to return for the reboot.
Charlie McElveen
Charlie McElveen plays Ethan, a successful lawyer and former colleague of Trina who begins to question the direction of her recent career choices. His presence adds an outside perspective to her evolving journey. McElveen has previously appeared in “The Creator,” “Clipped,” “Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin” and “High Potential.”
Thaddeus LaGrone
Thaddeus LaGrone plays Brad, a former Marine who returns to Venice Beach after serving two tours in an elite division to care for his father. Bringing both physicality and emotional depth to the role, LaGrone is a musician and former football player who is now building his acting career with several high-profile upcoming projects.
Brooks Nader
Brooks Nader plays Selene, a sharp-tongued Zuma Beach lifeguard captain whose tense dynamic with Hobie quickly spirals into a deeper rivalry after he brings his daughter Charlie onto the team. Known for “Love Thy Nader” and “Dancing With the Stars,” Nader also famously wore the classic “Baywatch” one-piece for “Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.”
Ashley Moore
Ashley Moore plays Jasmine, a rookie lifeguard who is highly capable but carries a reputation as the beach’s mean girl. With attitude and skill in equal measure, she is set to bring an edge to the team dynamic. Moore is best known for “I Know What You Did Last Summer” and “Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping.”
Kylar Miranda
Kylar Miranda plays Diego, an experienced lifeguard from East L.A. who also serves as the Baywatch team’s dependable handyman. Bringing grit and practicality to the ensemble, Diego adds both skill and personality to the beach unit. Miranda is known for his work in “On Swift Horses,” “Mayans M.C.” and “Minx.”
