Korean Boy Group BAE173’s Five Members Exit After Contract Conclusion, Remaining Singer Stays on Hiatus
Members of K-Pop group BAE173 have announced their departure from the team as of July 14. On Tuesday, PocketDol Studio, the agency of the group, shared an update on the singers’ exclusive contracts on their social media. Announcing the exit of five members, who will go on to pursue solo careers, only J-Min (Jeon Minwook) continues to be a part of the team.

“Hello, this is PocketDol Studio.
We would like to inform you that the exclusive contracts of BAE173 members Yoojun, Muzin, Junseo, Youngseo, and Bit expired on June 30, 2026.
After extensive discussions, we have decided to respect the members’ wishes to pursue new opportunities. Accordingly, with the expiration of their exclusive contracts, both the company and the members have agreed to go their separate ways as they continue their individual activities.
We sincerely thank all the fans who have shown unwavering love and support for Yoojun, Muzin, Junseo, Youngseo, and Bit throughout their time as members of BAE173.

Originally debuting with a nine-member lineup, Dohyon left the group on June 22, 2023, following the termination of his contract. Subsequently, Hangyul's deal with them ended on February 28, 2026. Earlier this year, in April 2026, Doha was granted a court order to suspend his activities under the team.
Currently, J-Min has been on hiatus from the group since February 2025 as he promotes as part of CLOSE YOUR EYES, the group that was formed via a survival program “PROJECT 7”. The status of his contract with PocketDol Studio is unknown as of now.
