Adam Sandler officiated Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s star-studded Madison Square Garden wedding.
The reveal came via a press release obtained by Variety in the minutes following Swift and Kelce’s official marriage announcement. It also included several other miscellaneous details about the ceremony and wedding day looks.
“The bride and groom’s wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture. They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the Bride and Groom,” read the release. “This is the designer’s first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. Their shoes were custom made by Christian Louboutin and the bride wore Cartier jewelry.”
It continued, “Taylor & Travis did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as Taylor’s Man of Honor and Jason Kelce was Travis’ Best Man. The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler.”
Days of media speculation led up to Friday’s ceremony, but the morning of the Associated Press confirmed July 3 is the day Swift and Kelce would tie the knot at Madison Square Garden. A-listers pictured in formal attire walking to the wedding include Ed Sheeran, Bradley Cooper, Zoë Kravitz, Jack Antonoff, Gigi Hadid, Dakota Johnson, Ethan Hawke, MGK, Jason Sudeikis, Hugh Grant and Camila Cabello. Some reports claim that the guest list includes as many as 1,000 names.
Variety reported that the digital wedding invites came complete with watermarks and NDAs. Other guests in attendance include AMC Theatres CEO Adam Aron, Steven Spielberg, Bob Iger, Dana Walden, Universal Music Group chairman Lucian Grainge, Republic Records founders Monte and Avery Lipman and Swift’s longtime tour promoter Louie Messina.
