From ‘The Odyssey’ to ‘Dune: Part Three,’ Zendaya and Anne Hathaway Rule 2026

The devil works hard, but Anne Hathaway of "The Devil Wears Prada 2" is working harder. With five films lined up for release, she is the Hollywood A-lister with the most releases in 2026. What’s more, her co-actor from "The Odyssey", Zendaya, has four theatrical releases and one streaming release ("Euphoria" Season 3) lined up for 2026! Clearly, it's an "Odyssey" year for both, and everyone wants a piece of their drama.

Some of that drama has been served. Trailers for all three of Zendaya’s upcoming film releases and "Euphoria" Season 3 are out. She has wrapped promotions for “The Drama,” a dark, twisted rom-com alongside Robert Pattinson, directed by Kristoffer Borgli, that released on April 3. And her bridal theme for the film's promotional tour sent fans into a tizzy.

The real frenzy, though, is around Zendaya’s nuptials with her “Spider-Man” costar Tom Holland, after her stylist Law Roach hinted that they might’ve tied the knot already. “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” releasing on July 31, 2026, will be Zendaya’s third release in the year and second in just that month alone, with “The Odyssey” arriving mere days before on July 17.

While there is no confirmation on whether Zendaya’s MJ will return in “Avengers: Doomsday,” the actor will end the year with a bang either way. Denis Villeneuve’s space opus, “Dune: Part Three”, clashes with the MCU film, giving fans another Barbenheimer-like event they’ve christened “Dunesday," but also, possibly, a Zendaya double whammy.

Even as Zendaya’s red carpet fashion takes a breather, Anne Hathaway’s is only just beginning. She has been promoting the sequel “The Devil Wears Prada 2” (releasing May 1) alongside co-star Meryl Streep. But before she returns to Runway as Andy Sachs, Hathaway will go on stage as an iconic pop star in David Lowery’s psychological thriller, “Mother Mary.” The film, also starring Michaela Coel and Hunter Schafer, is slated for an April 17 release, and the trailers have been stunning.

After Nolan’s “The Odyssey” in July, in which she plays Penelope, the wife of Matt Damon's Odysseus, Hathaway will headline David Robert Mitchell’s sci-fi thriller, “The End of Oak Street,” with Ewan McGregor. She will end the momentous year with “Verity,” the Colleen Hoover book adaptation directed by Michael Showalter, with Dakota Johnson and Josh Hartnett. An October 2026 release has been maintained, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

2026 is definitely Anne Hathaway and Zendaya's year, and we're merely living in it.
