‘Ye Live Concert’: Kanye West in India for one night only! Details inside

It's official! Ye is heading to India next month for his first-ever performance in the country. The celebrated rapper will perform at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on March 29 for a Ye Live Concert one-night-only gig and tickets go live in a couple of days.

Widely recognized as a disruptive force in the world of music, fashion and indeed, design and live production, Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, is best known for hit anthems like "Heartless," "Runaway," "Gold Digger," "Jesus Walks" and "Famous" among others. He is expected to perform his greatest-of hits "alongside reimagined classics," promise India organisers White Fox, Wizcraft and Plush Entertainment.

The India date marks  the artist’s long-anticipated debut before an Indian audience at full stadium scale. As part of his ongoing global run of headline performances, the New Delhi show will bring that same international production standard to India.

On offer, is everything "from stadium anthems to soul-bearing confessionals, from orchestral grandeur to raw minimalism" with the intent of the show being "built as an immersive experience with monumental production and elevated sound design and a stage that transforms into a living installation." What this essentially means is that audiences can expect expansive staging, cinematic large-format visuals, precision-engineered acoustics and a career-spanning setlist that moves seamlessly from early era-defining anthems to contemporary classics. "Conceived as an experience built around atmosphere and scale, the performance will be designed not merely to be watched, but to be felt. A statement that reflects not only the scale of the production, but the significance of the occasion," reveals the press note shared on the same.
