He understood the assignment flawlessly, playing a villain who is menacing yet undeniably funny—which is exactly what the ‘Welcome’ franchise is all about.
Expect a lot of action, and expect most of it to be beautifully meaningless. But honestly, that’s the whole point. This franchise was never meant to make strict sense; it’s an open invitation to leave your brains at home.
