‘Welcome 4’ In The Works: Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty Confirm Return Of Anil Kapoor–Nana Patekar Trio

By Sakshi Navare

While “Welcome to the Jungle”, directed by Ahmed Khan, is gearing up for its June 26, 2026 release, reports now suggest that the makers have already moved ahead with plans for “Welcome 4”, the fourth installment in the popular comedy franchise. Adding to the excitement, the iconic trio of Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar and Paresh Rawal are set to reunite for the new film. Kapoor and Patekar had taken a break from the franchise in the third installment.

Earlier in the day, a report by Mid-Day stated that the script for “Welcome 4" is already nearing completion, even before the release of the third film. The development gained further traction when Rawal and Suniel Shetty, who made a cameo in the first "Welcome” film, acknowledged the news on their respective X (formerly Twitter) handles.

Paresh Rawal reposted the report and wrote, “Jai Ho (folded hands emoji).” Suniel Shetty, meanwhile, shared his excitement in a longer post: “In times of chaos, some news just feels… right. The OG madness — Nana, Anil & Paresh — the heartbeat of the ‘Welcome’ universe are back. And no one does madness with that much brilliance. So happy to see the boys back where they belong. #Welcome4.”

According to reports, "Welcome 4” will feature a completely new storyline rather than continuing from the previous film, while bringing back fan-favourite characters including Nana Patekar’s Uday Shetty, Anil Kapoor’s Majnu Bhai and Paresh Rawal’s Ghungroo.

Meanwhile, "Welcome to the Jungle” boasts an ensemble cast featuring Akshay Kumar, Jackie Shroff, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Sharib Hashmi, Inaamulhaq, Mukesh Tiwari, Yashpal Sharma, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Mika Singh, Daler Mehndi and Farida Jalal, among others.
