The teaser of Suriya-Mamitha Baiju starrer “Vishwanath and Sons” drops; Promises to be a Heartwarming Tale about age gap in a Relationship
The promo introduces the lead actor as Sanjay Vishwanath, an international shooting champion, chasing his dreams while into his 40s. Suriya fans will get to see him in a lighter role, as he effortlessly showcases fatherly warmth and emotional depth, while maintaining his trademark style and swag.

Mamitha Baiju plays the character named Maddy in her 20s and has effortless camaraderie with co-star Suriya. “Vishwanath and Sons” addresses the societal discomfort with age gaps in relationships, making this mature love story stand apart in the genre, especially in what it has been serving lately.
Billed as “a story of dreams, emotions, and unexpected love unfolds,” the movie also features Radikaa Sarathkumar and Raveena Tandon in pivotal roles.
“Vishwanath and Sons” is directed by Venky Atluri, known for helming “Lucky Baskhar,” “Vaathi” and “Tholi Prema” among others.
GV Prakash Kumar is entrusted with the background score, while cinematographer Nimish Ravi is behind the lens. With Navin Nooli as editor, the film is bankrolled by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas and is set to hit the screens in July 2026.
Suriya will be next seen in “Karuppu,” directed by RJ Balaji. The action drama also stars Trisha Krishnan, alongside Indrans, Natty Subramaniam, Swasika, Sshivada, Supreeth Reddy and Yogi Babu.
