‘The Scandal,’ ‘A Love Other Than Yours’ and ‘Made in Korea Season 2’: New K-Dramas on OTT In September

After shows like “My Bias, My Boss” and “Our Sticky Love” in August, the K-drama slate for September features a diverse lineup of intriguing titles. Fan-favorite power couple Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin, who won hearts with “Crash Landing on You,” are set to return to screens with two projects. Also on the list is the 1970s-set “Made in Korea” Season 2 and “A Love Other Than Yours,” which explores the slow unraveling of a romance. Here’s a look at what’s releasing this month. 

A Love Other Than Yours

Release date: September 12, 2026

Ho Nam Goong (Seo Kang Joon) and Lee Mi Do (Ahn Eun Jin) have been in a relationship for over 10 years. While the initial spark has faded, society expects them to get married. The two question their relationship’s future when new love interests enter their lives.

The Scandal

Set in the Joseon era, Lady Cho (Son Ye Jin) embarks on a calculated game of seduction, manipulating Cho Won, a notorious playboy, and Hui Yeon, a young widow. She challenges Cho Won to win Hui Yeon’s affections, setting in motion a dangerous chain of desire, manipulation and betrayal. The film adapts Pierre Choderlos de Laclos’ French classic “Les Liaisons dangereuses,” following its earlier Korean screen adaptation, “Untold Scandal.” 

Made in Korea season 2

Cast: Hyun Bin, Jung Woo Sung, Woo Do Hwan, Won Ji An

As Baek Ki Tae (Hyun Bin) is appointed the acting director of the Korean Central Intelligence Agency (KCIA), Jang Geon Young (Jung Woo Sung) is right on his tail. With the nation plunged into a turbulent period during the Japanese occupation, Baek’s illicit racket comes under mounting scrutiny.

Yoon Ha Na (Bona) is a celebrated actress at the peak of her career. One day, her soul is switched with her twin brother, Yoon Ha Ru (Jang Se Hyuk), and transported back in time. As she tries to save her first love, Jung Woo Jae (Park Seo Ham), she uncovers truths about her past that she never knew existed.

The show revolves around a terminally ill mother who goes to great lengths to prepare her children for life after her death and another mother who abandons her child to pursue her own desires. The series offers contrasting perspectives on parenthood in this family drama.
