T-Series Acquires Exclusive Rights to Sampuran Singh’s Life Story From Gautam Rode
T-Series has acquired the exclusive rights to adapt the life story of Sampuran Singh from actor Gautam Rode, according to a public notice issued by Super Cassettes Industries Pvt Ltd and dated September 8, 2026.
The notice states that T-Series has acquired worldwide rights to Singh’s life story, including his personal experiences, incidents, relationships and interactions with family members and others.
The deal gives T-Series the freedom to develop the story across multiple formats, including feature films, television series, web series, documentaries, dramas and other adaptations. The rights also cover remakes, sequels, prequels, dubbing and subtitling in all languages, as well as books, novels, merchandise and other derivative works.

However, the notice does not confirm that a specific film or series is currently in development. It does not name a director, cast, production timeline or release date.
The public notice has been issued to give anyone who believes they have a claim over Singh’s life story an opportunity to come forward. T-Series has asked any such person, company or entity to submit their claim, along with supporting documents, within 15 days of the notice’s publication.
If no competing claim is received within that period, T-Series will proceed on the basis that there are no other claims over the rights it has acquired.
For now, the notice confirms the acquisition of the exclusive adaptation rights from Gautam Rode, giving T-Series the option to take Sampuran Singh’s story across films, series, documentaries and other formats.
