Suniel Shetty Joins Tiger Shroff in Murad Khetani’s Action Thriller (EXCLUSIVE)
After working with Jackie Shroff in films such as “Border”, “Refugee” and “Baaz: A Bird In Danger”, Suniel Shetty is set to share screen with Jackie's son, Tiger Shroff. Variety India has exclusively learned that Shetty has joined the cast of Tiger's next film, produced by Murad Khetani under Cine1 Studios.
The specifics of Shetty's character aren't known yet, but he's said to be playing a pivotal role in the action-packed thrilling storyline led by Tiger. Shooting is scheduled to begin on April 10 in Mumbai, with plans to shoot it on sets built in Goregaon and Malad. The film is expected to be wrapped up by July 2026.
This yet-untitled film will be directed by Kannada filmmaker Sachin Ravi, best known for helming Rakshit Shetty's 2019 cop entertainer, “Avane Srimannarayan”. The film marks the director's long-gestating directorial debut in Hindi cinema following his previous unsuccessful attempt with “Ashwatthama: The Saga Continues”, a mythological drama starring Shahid Kapoor, which was eventually shelved due to budgetary constraints.
