‘Street Fighter’ New Trailer: Noah Centineo and Andrew Koji’s Ryu and Ken Are Ready to Throw Down
Paramount Pictures and Legendary Entertainment have unveiled a new trailer for “Street Fighter,” putting Noah Centineo’s Ken Masters and Andrew Koji’s Ryu at the centre of the upcoming big-screen adaptation of the Capcom fighting game franchise.
The new footage arrives as the film’s global World Warrior Tour kicks off in Japan, where the trailer was unveiled across Tokyo’s Shinjuku Yunika Vision screens. Centineo, Koji, Callina Liang and Jason Momoa attended the launch alongside director Kitao Sakurai, local cast member Hirooki Goto, Japanese voice talent Eiko Kano and “Street Fighter” game director Takayuki Nakayama.

Set in 1993, “Street Fighter” follows estranged fighters Ryu and Ken, who are pulled back into combat when Chun-Li, played by Liang, recruits them for the next World Warrior Tournament. The competition, however, is more than a straightforward test of strength, with a conspiracy lurking behind the battles and eventually forcing the two former allies to confront each other and their shared past.
The trailer embraces the heightened energy associated with the games, moving between elaborate fight sequences, training and tournament-style face-offs. Its visual language draws from the franchise’s larger-than-life world, while the relationship between Ryu and Ken provides the central conflict.
Several of the film’s other fighters also make appearances, including Jason Momoa as Blanka, Joe “Roman Reigns” Anoa’i as Akuma, David Dastmalchian as M. Bison, Cody Rhodes as Guile and Indian action star Vidyut Jammwal as Dhalsim.
The ensemble further includes Andrew Schulz as Dan Hibiki, Eric André as Don Sauvage, Orville Peck as Vega, Olivier Richters as Zangief, Goto as E. Honda, Rayna Vallandingham as Juli, Alexander Volkanovski as Joe and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson as Balrog.
The launch also comes with an interactive twist. Paramount and Legendary have introduced the “Street Fighter” Combo Challenge through YouTube Playables, allowing viewers to engage with challenges while watching the full-length trailer.
Directed by Sakurai, “Street Fighter” will release in Indian cinemas on October 16, 2026, in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
