SS Rajamouli Talks About Receiving Offers to Head to Hollywood After ‘RRR’ Fame: ‘I’d Love to Do Atleast One Film’
SS Rajamouli appeared at the 50th São Paulo International Film Festival and interacted with the media and his fans. He was asked about possibly doing a Hollywood project next and the Indian director did not close the door.
Talking to Brazilian media Omelete, the filmmaker talked about heading to the West after doing his upcoming globetrotter project. He also spoke about receiving many offers after the popularity of “RRR: Rise Roar Revolt” but shared why he decided to not go ahead with it. He said, "There were many offers, and some of them are still open. I want to make a film in Hollywood, at least one, because they have a wonderful work ethic and structure, from which I could learn a lot. I would really love to work on a Hollywood film, but when “RRR” was released and I started receiving offers, the “Varanasi” project was already underway."

When “Varanasi” is ready, I will consider that angle."
