‘Spirit’: Sandeep Reddy Vanga Unveils Vivek Oberoi And Aishwarya Desai First Look

Sandeep Reddy Vanga has been strategically sustaining the buzz around “Spirit” with periodic announcements, ensuring the Prabhas-led film remains firmly in conversation. Late this afternoon, the filmmaker stirred excitement by revealing that he would be dropping a major update within 90 minutes. As promised, Vanga unveiled the first look of Vivek Oberoi and debutant Aishwarya Desai, adding fresh intrigue to the project.

Sources indicate that both Oberoi and Desai play pivotal roles in the film, which is headlined by “Baahubali” star Prabhas and “Animal” breakout Triptii Dimri. The newly released poster embraces a dark, brooding aesthetic, presenting Oberoi and Desai in intense, edgy avatars that hint at the film’s high-stakes narrative. Dimri replaced Deepika Padukone, who was initially expected to star opposite Prabhas before exiting the project.

Filming for the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial commenced in December last year and is progressing at a steady pace. The film is slated for a grand theatrical release on March 5, 2027. While plot details remain tightly under wraps, industry speculation suggests that Prabhas will portray an angry young police officer locking horns with a formidable mafia syndicate, setting the stage for a gritty action drama.

Mounted as a large-scale, pan-India entertainer, “Spirit” is set to release in eight languages. Backed by T-Series Films and Bhadrakali Pictures, the film is written, edited and directed by Vanga, and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Pranay Reddy Vanga, Krishan Kumar and Prabhakar Reddy Vanga.
