Song Kang And Kim So-hyun Reunite After Five Years For ‘White Scandal’
Song Kang who was discharged from the military on October 2025 has signed on to a new show. Fans of the Korean drama, “Love Alarm” will be glad to know that Song Kang and Kim So-hyun are all set to reunite for a new drama, “White Scandal”. An insider told the Korean media outlet, Sports Chosun that the two have been signed up for this new show.
Kim So-hyun will be seen as Ji Eun-seol, a child actress with potential whose career ends after she gets framed for her brother’s crimes. While working as a road manager, she still harbors her dream of becoming an actor. Later on, she meets Dan Yi-hyeok played by Song Kang. The two enter a contract relationship and uncover secrets around their past.

It seems Dan Yi-hyeok had some involvement in her traumatic childhood, which will be unveiled slowly. As they begin staying together, they bond on an emotional level. Kim So-hyun has proven her acting chops through the years with excellent work in Korean dramas like “Love Alarm,” “River Where the Moon Rises,” “Useless Lies,” and the recent cop-action series, “Good Boy,” with Park Bo-gum.
“White Scandal” has an original script and is written by Kim Ga-eun, who penned the story of “Call It Love,” starring Lee Sung-kyung and Kim Young-kwang.
The series will be reportedly directed by Kim Chul-gyu, a filmmaker who made dramas like “Mother,” and “Flower of Evil.” Song Kang is now filming the series, “Four Hands.” The rest of the cast of “Scandal” is being finalized now.
Song Kang has done a number of hit Korean dramas like “Nevertheless,” “Navillera,” “Sweet Home,” “My Demon,” to name a few. He has a huge fan base all over the world. Kim So-hyun too was much appreciated for her work in “Good Boy,” where she aced the physical combat scenes.
