Sivakarthikeyan to Bankroll Ammamuthu Surya’s Youthful Entertainer: ‘It is in the Final Stages of Scripting’

Sivakarthikeyan, the prominent actor and producer, has announced that his production house SK Productions will launch director Ammamuthu Surya in its 10th production venture.

The ‘Amaran’ actor announced this news at the success meet of “Thaai Kizhavi,” his ninth production venture and said, "I am happy to launch Ammamuthu Surya as the director of SK Productions' 10th film. Thaai Kizhavi's success has encouraged me to take this project as well, so it is fitting to introduce him here. This film is in the final stages of scripting. We made ‘Thaai Kizhavi’ for the family audiences, and this new film will be a youthful entertainer targeting youngsters."

Ammamuthu Surya was supposed to make his debut with “Happy Ending,” featuring actor-filmmaker RJ Balaji, but with no official word about the film, the youthful entertainer with SK Production could become Surya’s debut.

In the past, SK has launched directors like Arunraja Kamaraj (“Kanaa”), Karthik Venugopalan (“Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja”), Cibi Chakaravarthi (“Don”), T Rajavel (“House Mates”) and Sivakumar Murugesan (“Thaai Kizhavi”).

On the professional front, Sivakarthikeyan is busy with “Seyon.”It is backed by Kamal Haasan and R Mahendran under the banners of Raajkamal Films International and Turmeric Media. The film will be helmed by Sivakumar Murugesan, who directed “Thaai Kizhavi” for the actor’s production house.

Talking about the technical crew, the editing department is handled by San Lokesh and the camera is cranked by Vivek Vijayakumar. The music of the film is composed by Santhosh Narayanan, with Supreme Sundar and RK Nagu serving as stunt director and art director. The movie is set to hit the screens globally in October 2026.
