Salman Khan Locks Eid 2027 Release for Vamshi Paidipally, Dil Raju Film

Salman Khan has locked the release date for his upcoming film with Vamshi Paidipally and Dil Raju, confirming an Eid 2027 theatrical debut. The announcement comes with the project already on floors, positioning it as one of the actor’s major tentpole releases in the coming years.

The film, currently untitled and referred to as SVC63, marks Khan’s first collaboration with both Paidipally and Dil Raju. The actor had earlier shared a picture with the director, indicating the start of the shoot, and has now aligned the project with the Eid corridor, a release window closely associated with his box office track record.

Announcing the release date, Salman Khan shared a BTS Video and wrote, “Thoda durr ki sochna chahiye,(one should think ahead) That's why announced Eid... Don't Worry iss wali ka bhi bataenge (will tell you about this one too), when the time is right… Patience, thoda sa sabar (a little patience). Mere Jitna he intezar karna padega, Baherhaal jo apka haal hai wo hi mera bhi haal hai... haha. (you have to wait as I have waited… right now, your state of mind is exactly my state of mind too).”

Mounted as a large-scale commercial entertainer, the film is expected to operate in the action space, with extensive schedules planned across multiple locations. Industry chatter points to significant use of visual effects, suggesting a scale-driven approach in line with recent big-ticket theatrical outings.

While the makers are yet to officially confirm the full cast, reports indicate that Nayanthara is likely to feature opposite Khan. The project is being designed as a full-fledged mass entertainer, targeting wide appeal across markets.

The Eid 2027 date gives the team a long runway, allowing for a sustained production and post-production timeline, particularly with the film’s scale and technical demands.

Meanwhile, Khan will be seen next in “Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace,” directed by Apoorva Lakhia, and which is yet to lock its release date. With the Paidipally project now dated, Khan’s upcoming slate begins to take clearer shape.
