Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda’s Thailand Getaway Post-Wedding (EXCLUSIVE)

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda’s nuptials in Udaipur made quite the splash. It was traditional, authentic and a private affair. The star couple then jetted off to Thailand for their honeymoon. Variety India has exclusive pics of the couple enjoying their getaway post the hectic wedding, which was in planning for a year!

The couple look relaxed and very much in love on their holiday. A source reveals, “Vijay and Rashmika were staying in a private Airbnb villa overlooking the beach. They opted for a more intimate and personal experience over a traditional luxury resort. Much like their wedding celebrations, their holiday reflected their individuality, choosing a setting that felt authentic and uniquely theirs.”

Koh Samui is known for white sands, turquoise waters and luxurious villas dotting its beaches. But the couple chose the villa for the seclusion it offered. Rashimka and Vijay wanted to spend time away from paps and selfie hunters before returning to the limelight.

The fan-favourite couple, lovingly dubbed #ViRosh, tied the knot on February 26, 2026, in Udaipur. It was a three-day celebration, including haldi, mehendi and sangeet. There were two wedding ceremonies. One was a Telugu Hindu wedding ritual, and the other was a traditional Kodava ceremony, both paying tribute to Vijay and Rashmika's roots. A wedding reception was held in Hyderabad on March 4. Pictures and tidbits from the ceremony have been a great treat for their fans who've been shipping them since their "Geetha Govindam" (2018) days.

On the work front, the two will be seen together in Rahul Sankrityan's historical drama "Ranabaali," which arrives in theatres on September 11, 2026. Vijay plays the titular king, Ranabaali, and Rashmika, his queen, Jayamma, and their first look was revealed right after their wedding. The film is set during the 1800s when the Great Indian Famine struck the country under British rule.
