Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar 2’ Sells One Million Tickets Before Release, Advance Booking Sales Hit ₹40 Crore

“Dhurandhar: The Revenge” is creating box office records even before the release. continues to set records in advance booking sales. The Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar action spectacle has now crossed the milestone of one million tickets sold in advance bookings in India.

For the paid premiere shows scheduled to start at 5 pm on March 18, “Dhurandhar 2” has sold 6,09,973 tickets in 6,300 shows across 175 cities in India. These advance sales have generated approximately ₹25.59 crore net (₹30.46 crore gross). With bookings continuing at a rapid pace, industry estimates suggest that the premiere collections alone could touch ₹30 crore net before the film officially opens.

Advance bookings for the first day, March 19, are also showing strong momentum. So far, the film has collected ₹15.02 crore net (₹17.88 crore gross) through 3,95,009 tickets sold in 8,400 shows across 163 cities. With three days still remaining before release, the bookings are expected to accelerate further, pushing the film toward an all-time advance sales record.

Collectively, “Dhurandhar 2” has already sold 10,04,982 tickets in advance sales for its premiere shows and opening day. This translates to a total advance revenue of approximately ₹40.61 crore net (₹48.34 crore gross). Had the makers not opted for premiere shows an evening before, a significant portion of these ticket sales might have been counted entirely toward opening day collections, creating an even bigger box-office frenzy. Nevertheless, the film is still on track for a record-breaking opening, with exhibitors anticipating “housefull boards” back in cinemas again.
