Pride And Prejudice First Teaser: Emma Corrin, Jack Lowden All Set To Revive Yearning On Screens This Autumn
After Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi's "Wuthering Heights", fans are seated for the onscreen recreation of another English classic, "Pride And Prejudice". This time it is coming as a series on Netflix UK and Ireland. Dolly Alderton has written this series that stars Emma Corrin and Jack Lowden in main roles. "Pride And Prejudice" has had many onscreen adaptations. The 2005 film starred Kiera Knightley and Matthew Macfayden. The just-released teaser is getting varied reactions from social media. Many wondered if it was too excessive while others said that such projects were back with a bang.
The series is coming in autumn. People are praising the cinematography as it has build the atmosphere of the novel on screen. Many also wrote that Emma Corrin seems to be a good onscreen Elizabeth Bennett as her eyes have that longing which has charmed readers of the original novel. This is not the first time for Corrin in a novel to screen adaptation. She starred in "Lady Chatterley's Lover" in 2022 and was also a part of "Nosferatu" in 2024.

The cinematography already looks soft and atmospheric. If the chemistry hits and the dialogue keeps that classic wit, this could be a standout adaptation.
Period drama season is officially back.

Emma Corrin on the rooftop at sunset, blushing at the sound of galloping hooves… then Jack Lowden as Mr. Darcy rides in. Pure yearning. Dropping later this year — we are NOT ready 🔥
Jack Lowden too has good experience in such kind of dramas. He played Nikolai Rostov in the BBC adaptation of "War And Peace." He won the BAFTA Scotland Award for "Benediction" in 2021. He played the part of poet, Siegfried Sassoon in that project. The success of "Wuthering Heights" has shown that people still like to watch such shows. Fans of Jane Austen's novels are known to be passionate and are curious to see how Lowden fares as Mr Darcy.
