Touted to be one of the finest cinematic spectacles from India, Priyadarshan’s action sequences will be on par with the female actors who performed daredevil stunts in Hollywood biggies.
While the makers have spent a good amount of time on pre-production, the film is set to go on floors next month. Ranveer Singh will film the first schedule till Diwali, followed by a paternity break. He is expected to start the second schedule in 2027.
With an estimated budget of around Rs 300 crore, “Pralay” is described as an ambitious, VFX-heavy action thriller set in a post-apocalyptic, dystopian world. Produced by Hansal Mehta's True Story Films and Ranveer Singh's Maa Kasam Films, the film is directed by Jay Mehta.
Meanwhile, Kalyani will also be seen in “Lokah: Chapter 2,” which will revolve around Chathan, played by Tovino Thomas. She recently confirmed the news and shared that the production will hopefully start in September. It will be written and directed by Dominic Arun, who also helmed the previous installment. Dulquer Salmaan, who is producing the franchise, is also playing a key role in the narrative of the five-part series, which is inspired by local folklore.
