‘Peddi’: Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor’s Movie Moves To June 25; Producer’s Statement Creates Confusion
Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor fans were keenly waiting for “Peddi,” directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The release date announced was April 30. The makers also released a glimpse of Ram Charan’s look as a wrestler in a special video on his birthday. For two days, we have been hearing from media reports that “Peddi” might be shifted from the release date to May.

Today, at an event, producer Sreenivasa Kumar said that “Peddi” might seal June 26 as its release date. It should be noted that neither Vriddhi Productions or Mythri Movie Makers have made an official statement on this. Sources suggest that the production firms will release a note two days later to confirm the date.

Earlier, reports did the rounds that some scenes needed a bit of work so the makers might take a little longer to present the finished product. "Peddi" is a big movie for all fans of Ram Charan. They are keen to see him with Janhvi Kapoor given how megastar Chiranjeevi and late Sridevi were a blockbuster pair in Telugu cinema. It is directed by Buchi Babu Sana who has worked for a long time with Sukumar of "Pushpa" and "Rangasthalam" fame.
