No more updates on Salim Khan’s health: Khan family instructs Lilavati Hospital (EXCLUSIVE)
There will be no updates on legendary screenwriter Salim Khan’s health forthcoming from Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospitals. Khan’s family has taken a strong stand on the matter, instructing the hospital to not release any information on his health.
Salim Khan was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026, after suffering a minor brain haemorrhage. Amid widespread media reports surrounding his condition, Dr Jalil Parkar, who is currently overseeing his treatment, informed the media that he was stable but remains on ventilator support.
“Health is a private matter. Ideally, no updates should be shared with the media and any communication should be left entirely to the family, if and when they choose to address fans and well-wishers,” a source close to the family told Variety India. “Salman and his family were displeased with the doctor’s public statement and have clearly conveyed to the authorities that they do not want any further details disclosed."
