Nayanthara Officially On Board as Female Lead For Salman Khan’s Next With Vamshi Paidipally and Dil Raju

By Sakshi Navare

Nayanthara has officially joined Salman Khan in his next film, which Vamshi Paidipally will direct and Dil Raju will produce. The film, described as a high-octane action thriller, has been in the headlines for the past several weeks, and the makers have now put all rumours to rest with an official confirmation.

It was only yesterday that the team formally announced the project with Salman Khan, sharing a picture featuring both the actor and director Vamshi Paidipally. Now, the makers have confirmed that Nayanthara is officially on board, despite recent speculation suggesting she might not take up the film.

Sharing a collage featuring Nayanthara and Salman Khan, production house Sri Venkateshwara Creations wrote in its announcement post, “The Queen Arrives. The epitome of versatility and excellence, #Nayanthara joins #SalmanKhanVamshiPaidipallyFilm. It’s an honour to have you on board for something truly special that’s underway.”

Meanwhile, while sharing the image announcing the project yesterday, Salman Khan wrote, “Dil, Dimag, Jigar se from this April with Vamshi and Dil Raju.” The production house, posting the same image on its page, added, “Salman Khan, a phenomenon who has delivered countless moments of celebration to audiences across the world, now joins hands with our very own, dearest blockbuster filmmaker #VamshiPaidipally for #SVC63. #SalmanKhanVamshiPaidipallyFilm goes on floors this April… destined for glory.”

If earlier reports are to be believed, the untitled Salman Khan-led film is expected to be a high-octane action entertainer. While it is set to go on floors in April, the project is reportedly eyeing an Eid 2027 release. The film is said to be mounted on a massive scale, with the makers planning extensive schedules and shoots across multiple locations in the country. Reports also suggest that the scale of the film will require significant VFX work.

The movie is being designed as a full-fledged commercial entertainer. Meanwhile, Salman Khan is currently busy with “Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace” (formerly titled “Battle of Galwan”), which is being directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The film does not yet have a release date.
