Mallika Sherawat Joins ‘The Traitors India’ Season 2 Team In Jaisalmer (EXCLUSIVE)
The filming of “The Traitors India” Season 2 has begun in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Sources have informed Variety India that Mallika Sherawat has already joined the shoot. The actress's name had been circulating in the media for over a month. Some days ago, Variety India reported that host Karan Johar had flown down to Jaisalmer for the shoot. The setting of “The Traitors India” Season 2 is the same as the previous one: Suryagarh Palace. One of the elite royal resorts of the city, it also hosted the wedding of Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra in January 2023.

Mallika Sherawat who resides abroad was last seen in the 2024 movie, “Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video." The actress shot to fame with her performance in “Murder,” in a role considered too bold for her times. She also featured with pop icon Bruno Mars in the music video, “Whatta Man.”
So far, the actress did not deny or confirm her participation on the reality show. “The Traitors India” Season 2 has a total of 20 participants that include actors, content creators and personalities from other fields. Amazon Prime Video India confirmed the second season days before the first season of “The Traitors India” ended on July 3, 2025. Uorfi Javed and Nikita Luther were the joint winners of the season.
