‘Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hain’ Takes Bumper Opening, ‘Naagin 7’ Back in Top Five on TRP Charts
The TRP ratings of shows in the past few months have been quite encouraging for the industry. Last week's numbers are here, and "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2" has topped the charts. People are glued into the dynamics of the Virani family as Tulsi (Smriti Irani) makes a grand comeback. It got a rating of 2. The spin-off of the show, "Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hain," starring Rohit Suchanti and Tanisha Mehta, is on the second spot. It got a rating of 1.9. This new serial starts at around 10.55 pm as an extension of "KSBKBT2". In the past, Star Plus had done a similar thing with "Ishqbaaaz," when they made "Dil Boley Oberoi."

The second spot is quite cluttered with three shows. We have "Anupamaa," "Vasudha," and "Ganga Maai Ki Betiyaan." In Rupali Ganguly's show, we have Anupamaa building a new life in Goa. Sachin Tyagi and her dynamic will be explored in the coming days. "Vasudha," is also doing well as Dev and Vasudha come closer by the day. Dadisaa's (Kiran Bhargava) character added a new dimension to the show. After many years, ZeeTV seems to be ruling in the prime-time slots.
"Naagin 7" has made a good jump to 1.7 from last week's low numbers. It is back in the top five. The entry of Zayn Ibad Khan as the Dragon has added a lot of excitement. We are also seeing how Ahana (Priyanka Chahar Choudhary) and Aryaman (Namik Paul) are coming closer as a couple. “Tumm Se Tumm Tak” is also in the same position. Fans are gaga over Sharad Kelkar and Niharika Chouksey’s show where Anu’s character tries to help Harsh (Manraj Singh Sharma) out in his business.
Colors TV’s variety entertainment show, “Laughter Chefs 3,” is on the sixth spot along with “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.”
