The news of the highly anticipated project marking the reunion of two cinematic legends, Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth, is finally out. The makers dropped an intricate poster to share this massive update and revealed that the project will officially launch on February 20 at 12:07.
The announcement poster, which was released just a few minutes ago, has gone viral on social media its smart design implying multilayered details. It denotes the names of the two superstars, as it is tentatively titled “KH X RK.” It has the tagline 'Some men set rules. Some men just rule.' It amps the curiosity with a catchy tagline, which reads, “When the stars align, you don’t choose sides.”

Several directors were in the running to helm this biggie, with Lokesh Kanagaraj earlier involved in the conversation before stepping away. The two superstars preferred a lighter, comedy-leaning approach, and he isn’t suitable for comedy, which is why he backed out, Lokesh shared at a recent press meet.
Another filmmaker, Sundar C, who earlier directed both Kamal in "Anbe Sivam" and Rajinikanth in "Arunachalam," claimed that he had to leave the project due to "unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances.”

It is now speculated that the massy director Nelson, who helmed "Jailer," is on board as the subject is the mix of dark comedy with crowd-friendly characters.
Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth last shared screen space in K Balachander’s “Thillu Mullu” (1981), in which ‘Ulganayagan’ played a cameo in the climax. The upcoming film marks their reunion after a gap of 45 years.
