Nephew of the legendary Michael Jackson, Jaafar Jackson was born to Jermaine Jackson (Michael's brother) and Alejandra Oaziaza. The 29-year-old singer and actor was chosen to portray his uncle, Michael, in the biopic. His grandmother, Katherine Jackson, felt he was the best person to embody the King of Pop. Jaafar was a talented kid who began singing and dancing at the age of 12. As a kid, he aimed to become a professional golfer. His father, Jermaine, was part of the Jackson 5 band, where he was a vocalist. He was also a songwriter and bass player. The Jackson family, which was from Indiana, was a family of entertainers.
The young man was in the cast of the family's reality show, "Living with the Jacksons." He has also featured in other projects like "The Jacksons: Next Generation." He appeared in the Tito Jackson music video, "Love One Another."
