Dulquer Salmaan’s latest release, “I’m Game,” hit the screens yesterday and started on a good note. The action-thriller collected ₹5.40 crore on its first day across 2,714 shows, with an average occupancy of 43 percent.
Of the total collections, the Malayalam original contributed significantly with ₹4.55 crore, followed by the Telugu and Hindi-dubbed versions, which added ₹0.75 crore and ₹0.10 crore, respectively.
While the first-day business is encouraging, the film fell short of surpassing “Lucky Baskhar,” which opened to ₹7.35 crore, including paid previews. “I’m Game” has registered the fourth-biggest opening day of Dulquer Salmaan’s career, behind “Lucky Baskhar,” “King of Kotha” and “Kurup.”
