Harry Styles Addresses Allegations Of Queerbaiting On ‘Saturday Night Live’: ‘You Don’t Know Everything About Me’
Harry Styles is all over social media after his stint on "Saturday Night Live". This was the second time he came on the show both as a host and a guest. The British pop singer has been busy promoting his new album, “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.” When he was on stage, Harry took the platform to clear how his image is perceived in the media and in the general public. He also addressed the topic of queerbaiting. The term, ‘queerbaiting’ means incorporating creative marketing techniques that aim to earn support from the LGBTQ community. It is done subtly so that an artist does not lose his heterosexual fan base. Harry delivered a monologue and also kissed cast member Ben Marshall on stage.

Harry said his private life was mundane when he was not touring or making music. As a host, he also played with the idea of his new album’s title, “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.” He said on the show, “What’s better than kissing all the time? Which I don’t actually do, I don’t kiss all the time.” The female cast members of "Saturday Night Live" made playful advances at him, which he declined. But when Ben Marshall approached him, he went in for a full-on kiss, jokingly calling it, “queerbaiting”.
