G-Dragon Shares A Glimpse Of His Practice for Coachella 2026 As Part of BIGBANG’s 20th Anniversary Tour
BIGBANG fans are kicked about the 20th anniversary celebrations of the K-Pop boy band. They will be performing at Coachella 2026 in April as part of the same. G-Dragon (real name: Kwon Ji-yong), Daesung (Kang Dae-sung) and Taeyang (real name: Dong Young-bae) will perform as a trio. YG Entertainment debuted BIGBANG in 2006 and they became instant stars with their raw talent and stage presence. Coachella is a music festival where all big talents from the world come to perform before large crowds from the US and all over the world. BIGBANG has left a lasting impression on K-Pop and their cultural footprint in South Korea is immense.

Yesterday, G-Dragon shared a picture on his Instagram from the practice room where the crew was busy in the rehearsals. We could also see a ticket with words, “Coachellalala” and “BIGBANG Desert Live Backstage” written on it. G-Dragon is the leader of BIGBANG. He is known as one of the best artists in the world of Korean pop music. A rapper, he is equally skilled in songwriting, composing and music production. G-Dragon was discharged from the military in 2019.

After a long break, G-Dragon made a musical comeback with “Still Life” in 2022. His return was a critical hit where people praised his mature lyrics reflecting on youth and introspection. In 2023, he shifted from YG Entertainment to a new agency, Galaxy Corporation which is mainly into AI and tech. In February 2025, he released his third studio album, “Ubermensch” that had a total of eight songs.
BIGBANG started off as a five-member band under YG Entertainment. T.O.P who was seen in “Squid Game 2” is now pursuing a solo career. His new album, “Another Dimension” will be released in the first week of April 2026. The fandom of the band, known as VIPs, is still as loyal and devoted to the musicians. The upcoming tour has brought joy to millions all over the world.
