FWICE Urges Producers to Tighten Security on Film Sets After Tiger Shroff Firing Incident
The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has asked producers and production houses to begin updating security on film sets. It also includes background checks on the crew members assigned on the sets. This development comes amidst the recent attack on Tiger Shroff in Mumbai.
The advisory issue also emphasizes verifications, stricter access control and better security arrangements, even at indoor studios. FWICE urged producers and filmmakers to verify the identities, backgrounds and credentials of individuals before bringing them on board. The advisory also called for maintaining accurate crew records and strengthening safety protocols at shooting locations to minimise the risk of any untoward incidents. They have also asked makers to give preference to verified professionals, working with affiliated organizations. FWICE has also urged that no compromise should be made while protecting human life.
